Hey Jeff – I thought you should know that I read cold splinters everyday. For the most part you’ve tapped into everything I like about the world. Thanks for working so had on it. Also… we should plan a boundary waters canoe trip w/ daniel and the ladies. It’s a Magic place, and if you’ve never been there, we should make it happen. Also… check out the website for Steger mukluks and Bear Island Land company. And one more thing, you should borrow a book I gave daniel called the house made of dawn. Did you know that the little marks you have above the “s”s and the “r” on your logo are real accent marks (in Czech) and that they make the “s” into a “sh” and the “r” into something between a rolled “r” and a “zh?”

I keep seeing the name as you have it and trying to pronounce it, in my head, in Czech, and it’s a mess. Cold Shplinterrrrzhsh”.

I just stumbled upon your site. It gives me the feeling of exploring, digging through the hospital auxiliary thrift store of a small wooded town.
