Some of you may already be hip to this, but the New Jersey camping supplier Campmor (still) puts out a fully illustrated, black and white catalog printed on newsprint. This thing makes everything look like the stuff we wish we could still buy from the ads in the margins of a 30 year old Backpacker magazine.
I oggled the sundowners for years via the Campmor catalog. Bought my first pair finally in 2004. Still my year round hiking boot.
Good choice.
That is pretty amazing. It must cost a TON to print that thing!
To TCF (above): You got the Sundowner just in time. The newer version (pictured) is vastly (Vasque-ly?) inferior to what you have. These are the boots our NPS rangers are outfitted with.
