I visited Arizona for the first time last March on my honeymoon. It was also my first time in a desert environment (red rocks, cacti, the grand canyon, etc.). I am aching to get back.

Sounds like a great time. Your narrative does the desert justice.

Love your site. Love the desert.

When in SF, make time for Point Reyes, north of town.
Best hike: Tomales Point Trail through the Thule Elk refuge. Fog, cedars and eucalyptus, windswept moors and crashing surf. Amazing.
