    In Belize we had black beans, tortillas and hard boiled eggs with a little container of hot sauce. That’s a damn good camping breakfast.

    Oatmeal and instant coffee. Simply. Nothing. Better.

    If you want to get fancy, precooked polenta conveniently packed in a tube tastes much better if you don’t mind hauling a little more weight. Placed at the bottom of a long tube sock, it becomes a helpful tool in fending off wild dogs that wander into your campsite.
