Agreed. I was happy to see Merrell making resoleable boots (Not sure if they did in the past). I own a pair of Danner Mountain Light and I love them.

I’ve put a pair of Merrell’s to the test. Three years in desert, hundreds of miles, and still sort-of ok. These new ones look great. Now if they could only make a non-leather, vegan adaptation….
These boots is great. So comfy and durable. I own 5 pairs of Merrell and this is my favorite.
Merrell has made the wilderness boot for a while; my first pair was back in ’78… I out grew them! Back then, they cost $120-ish!
