The Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor ran through the town I grew up in/ taught high school in - Uxbridge, MA. It runs from central Rhode Island up to a bit south Worcester, MA. It's a very pretty area, but more of a historic site than a multi-use national park. If you like mills and canals, it's your kind of place.
