No Other!
Man, SO good!! I love the Byrds. Such unique sound. Love it.
Never heard of Byrds but I look for some resources that features their songs and it sounds good. Nice music.
They are supposed to be the Beatles of the 70′s… I wonder why their music didn’t push through… or the band itself…They could be like the N’Sync of the BackstreetBoys. Do you agree?
Come on Scar Face, comparing the Byrds to N’Sync and Backstreet Boys is criminal. I am quite certain you know a bunch of songs by the Byrds you just don’t realize it. They were around at the same time as The Beatles and some great tunes. David Crosby was a member. Hit YouTube and type in Byyrds. You will hear tunes you know. They definitely made it.
The Byrds weren’t the “Beatles of the 70′s”, because their time was the early 60′s. Until they came along pop music was almost entirely British. They laid the foundations for American fol/rock, country/rock. They electrified and harmonized Dylan, and they set the tone for groups like Crosby, Stills and Nash, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Neil Young, The Eagles and all that great music.
