a hike in the alps

Kufstein is a town of about 20,000 in the Austrian Alps built around a fortress on a hill.  Like so many Tyrolean towns it’s also split by a river with alpine hiking abound.  With so many towns surrounded by marked trails and campsites, hiking feels like part of the culture in that part of the world…just be sure you can read the signs.
